Runners Log.

OK another day of running.. Felt a little better on this run was better with pacing myself not much to real say so here are the numbers.

Time: 36 minutes
Distance: 2.51 miles

Same time added a half mile.. happy about that. It's only my 2nd time running like this.. I am hoping to get some new sneakers here soon and that should hopefully make things easier then running in the 5 year old high tops..

  1. What speed setting do you put the treadmill at? I have been trying to run more and I can't run for maybe more then 10 minutes consecutively without having to drop the speed to walking. For shoes, have you tried to look into Nike Free runners? They help 'train' your feet. There is a lot of people that swear by these shoes, maybe do a google search onthem. Since I started wearing them I haven't suffered from shin splints when running. Keep in mind they have little support on the heels (this will promote you to reduce heel strike and run on your toes more).
